About the Cover Photographer
Brigette Carruth is a native of Illinois, but has lived in Georgia since 1985 and has become quite the southern girl. Her husband Tim was born in Marietta and raised here in Paulding County since the age of 6. They have been married 21 years and have two boys. Chase age 18 is a student at Kennesaw State University and a 2010 graduate of East Paulding High. Cameron age 14 is a freshman at East Paulding High. The family is long time members of Roswell Street Baptist church, where Brigette teaches 8th grade girls Sunday school and plays flute with the orchestra.
Her degree is in fashion merchandising, but her love for photography caused her to go a new direction taking classes at KSU. She started her business, In Focus Photography in 2003. Specialties include unique location work for senior portraits, family and children, engagement, maternity, sports and special events. She also does commercial work with area businesses. Brigette's first national publication came out in the March/April issue of Bridal Guide magazine with a full-page ad for Kristina Eaton Ltd.
Brigette is a breast cancer survivor of two years and completed her first Susan G. Komen 3-day, 60-mile walk in October of 2010. She is already signed up for the 2011 walk and is currently doing off-season training.

On the Cover
John, Ryker, Allyn, and Shonda Beavers
Easter is coming, and hopping on to our cover this month are twins, Allyn and Ryker Beavers; along with the Our Town rabbit, Lulu. They are residents of Dallas, along with their parents – Shonda and John.
Allyn and Ryker recently turned five years old, and though they’re twins, they couldn’t be more different. Allyn is a “girly-girl”. She loves to color, draw, write, dance, dress-up and be silly. She has a HUGE imagination and is very creative. Ryker is “ALL BOY”. He loves trucks, getting dirty and fixing things. These days he cannot go anywhere without wearing his cowboy boots. He has an incredible memory and is very detailed oriented.
Allyn and Ryker have wonderful, friendly personalities and a great sense of humor. Though they fuss like any brother and sister, they love each other a lot and are very protective of one another. If they are separated for any reason during the day or on the weekend, they want to get a surprise to take home for their sibling or they call each other to see what the other one is doing. The care and concern they have for each other is very sweet.
Each year on Allyn and Ryker's birthday their family watches the video of their birth. Shonda says, “It is such a special time of reflection on how much they have grown and how lucky we are to have two beautiful healthy children.” They are very inquisitive about which baby is who and cannot believe they were both in mommy’s tummy at once. Ryker will tell you he is baby A and Allyn knows she is baby B; they’re exactly one minute apart.
Shonda and John feel blessed to be the parents of this energetic duo. Shonda was only three weeks into her pregnancy when they first discovered she was expecting twins. Both of them were very excited and a little overwhelmed at the thought of taking care of two babies, but they knew they were up for the challenge.
Shonda and John have lived in this area their whole lives. Shonda is a Medical Sale Rep for Smith & Nephew; an Orthopaedic Medical Device Company which sells medical devices to Orthopaedic Surgeons. John is self-employed and owns his own trucking company called Beavers Trucking.
We truly enjoyed spending time with Allyn and Ryker. They are both happy and loving children, and were very excited to have their picture made with Lulu. Allyn and Ryker can tell you they are twins, and how special that makes them. This is very true! Both of them have brought so much joy to their entire family, and it’s a privilege for us to have them on this Easter cover.
