Miss Paulding County 2012 - Dallas Theater and Civic Center

Come be a part of a program that gives girls ages 0-12 months up 16-21 years old the opportunity to take their crown and make a difference in someone else's life. They have several programs available:
"A Simple Act of Kindness" Challenge - Miss Paulding County will recognize the young lady that exemplifies the heart of our program to make a difference in her community. Essay must be submitted. The winner will become one of our titleholder's for 2012. She will also receive a crown, $100 and more. Essay required. Deadline to enter is Friday, March 9th.
Also new for 2012, they will award a $500.00 cash scholarship to a senior and/or college student between the ages of 17 and 21, currently a senior in high school or enrolled in college. To apply, send in your last two years of report cards/transcripts and provide 2 letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, principal, professor or dean. The winner of this award will be determined by educators outside of Paulding County. Deadline to enter this portion of the competition is Friday, March 9th.
As their community service project for Miss Paulding County they are participating in the "Color Me Beautiful" project. This program is designed to collect coloring books, crayons, markers, colored pencils, and all types of coloring supplies. These items will be then donated to children in hospitals, preschools, kindergarteners, and orphanages. "Color Me Beautiful" founded by Brittany Deaville, a student at South Paulding High School, brings out everyone's inner beauty through the world of color.
