Dr. Michael Rossitch opened Rossitch Pediatric Dentistry a little over a year ago in January 2008. When he first thought about opening his own practice, he had an "around the world" theme in mind. "Dr. Mike" had a vision to create a positive experience for children and provide quality dental care. After taking a tour of the practice, you will see that Dr. Mike achieved his goal.
Rossitch Pediatric Dentistry is a state-of-the-art dental practice that specializes in comprehensive dental care of infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. They are completely dedicated to the oral health of children. Their team is committed to providing the highest quality dental care and they encourage parents to play an active role in their child's oral health.
They strive to provide an environment that is fun, safe, relaxed, child-friendly and on the cutting edge of technology while focusing on prevention and education for families. As you enter their office, kids are greeted by the world map which gives them a preview of their trip. Cleanings are handled on an African safari. After waiting in the tent for their safari tour, they can relax and watch the giraffes, elephants and lions of Africa. Fillings and other procedures are handled in the mountains of Asia with the pandas playing on the rocks.
There are private treatment rooms available for trips to the Australian outback with the koalas and kangaroos, the Amazon Rainforest with a beautiful waterfall - watch out for the snake, and in Antarctica where they can float on an iceberg with the penguins - wear a jacket, it's cold! Also, parents have their own waiting area on the roof tops of Paris, while enjoying a cup of coffee at Café De Rossitch.
Dr. Mike was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He attended UNC at Chapel Hill where he graduated with a BS in Biology. In 2001 he graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry with highest honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. After Dr. Mike completed three additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry, he received a master's degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the UNC School of Dentistry in 2004. He has received prestigious awards and belongs to many Dental Associations. Dr. Mike currently resides in Kennesaw with his wife, Shannon, three sons and his golden retriever.
Included in Dr. Mike's team are Casey Walton, Heather Howerter and Amy Hartley. They have been with him since the opening and share Dr. Mike's dedication to his patients. Rossitch Pediatric Dentistry is a team that is completely focused on the experience of their patients, as well as the quality of their dental care. Truly, it's an experience, not to be missed!
