Ace Hardware
Residents in the Dallas/New Hope area have a new neighbor! Their very own Ace Hardware. Many people are very excited about the new addition,but no more so than Ace Hardware owners and Paulding residents, Tom and Debbi Davidson and Bill
and Edith Alexander.
Bill and Edith Alexander are long-time residents of Dallas. Two years ago, while at a local store to purchase
items for a project, Bill picked out everything he needed, and proceeded to the checkout. When he got to the front, the only registers open were the ones for
self-checkout. When he asked for a different register, he was told that he had to use self checkout; he didn’t have a choice.
It was then Bill realized he was doing everything on his own and there was zero customer service. He knew that he and the residents of Paulding needed a better choice and that was offering the community its own
ACE Hardware. He called on his friend Tom Davidson in North Carolina to move to Georgia and open a store that has a rich history as the neighborhood hardware place; a name that is synonymous with the word– ‘HELPFUL”.
Ace Hardware began in Chicago in 1924 by a group of retailers. Throughout the more than 80 year history, Ace has grown from a few Chicago-area hardware stores, to the more than 4,600 in 50 states and 70 countries!
The only thing that has remained unchanged is Ace Hardware’s commitment to delivering helpful hardware assistance to their customers.
You can find everything you need to complete your home projects, and then some at the Ace Hardware in Dallas. They have hundreds of items in every department - Lawn & Garden, Outdoor Living, Paint, Home Goods, Tools, Clothing, Hardware, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Electrical and Auto! There are so many choices, and there is ALWAYS someone available to help you.
So, if you’re in the area make sure you stop by. Even if it’s just to come in to say hello and look through this beautiful store! It’s open and well lit. If you need help, just ask one of the kind folks in the red shirt or vest. They are extremely helpful and friendly. You can even enjoy complimentary coffee and fresh popped popcorn while you shop. But, don’t be alarmed if you hear elephants; it’s just the gumball machine and it’s worth the .25 cents to watch it work!
